So, M’Dear, how very exciting for you. I, err, completely slacked off from reading your LJs and such for, we,,, a long time. You were in NY, then suddenly you were in Mexico, now you’re in Spain. How neat and exciting… but what was the motivation/obsession, etc.? I remember the Henni who, in college, would get *mad* at me for using spanish phrases, when you only spoke french. Ha! It amuses me entirely. Oh, i love your blog name, btw.
Hello, sweetie pie! And suddenly you have a one year old!! How crazy is that? Yes, I do remember not wanting to deal with Spanish in college. The motivation/obsession is that no one but the French speak French! Nah, there are just a ton of Spanish speakers in NYC and I had all the practice I could ask for. Now I want to be surrounded by it so I can become fluent. Glad you like the name, it was a while in figuring out what it would end up being.
